Design and selections
We agree the layout, cabinets, counters, tile and fixtures. If you want to see it first, we can produce a 3D rendering.
Fixed written price
A line-by-line scope and 1 price. What you sign is what you pay unless you change the work.
Build
Demolition, rough plumbing and electrical, inspections, cabinets, counters, tile and finishes. Most kitchens take 4 to 8 weeks on site once materials are in.
Handover
Final walkthrough, punch list, and your warranty in writing.

Sam's advice on materials
Spend on what you touch every day: drawers that run smoothly, a counter that won't stain, good task lighting. Quartz is the easiest counter to live with; natural stone looks unique but needs sealing. Large-format porcelain floors give a marble look without the upkeep. We call it return on happiness: put the money where you'll notice it every morning.

Questions we get asked
How much does a kitchen remodel cost in Houston?
Most of our kitchen remodels cost $20,000 to $50,000. Larger kitchens with layout changes, custom cabinetry and natural stone can reach $100,000 to $200,000.
How long does a kitchen remodel take?
Usually 4 to 8 weeks on site once cabinets and counters are ordered. Custom cabinetry or structural changes can add time, and we give you a schedule with the price.
Can you remove a wall to open up my kitchen?
Often, yes. We check whether the wall is load-bearing and what runs through it, then price the beam, engineering and permits into the fixed price.
Do I need a permit for a kitchen remodel?
Cosmetic work usually does not, but new electrical circuits, plumbing moves and structural changes do. We handle the permits that apply to your job.
Can I see the design before you start?
Yes. Our 3D renderings show your new kitchen before you commit, and $500 of the fee is credited to your deposit if you go ahead.
Will my price change during the job?
No. The price only changes if you change the work, and any change is priced in writing before we do it.
